Lake County Airboat Club

Our organization is made up of men and women who are working to protect our rights as sportsmen by keeping our waterways navigable in Central Florida.

ELECTION RESULTS!!!! 

The Board of Directors met on November 28th to tabulate the votes. A total of 40 ballots were returned. In the race for President, the incumbent, Jim Brown, beat George Bryant by a 2 to 1 margin. The closest race was for Vice- President. The winner, Shorty Baker, beat Fred Carr by only one vote. Beagle was in a very close third. Treasurer Raymond Hottinger, who was unchallenged, received 37 of the 40 votes. The most interesting vote was a write-in vote for Secretary which appeared to be "John Lennon". Since he was unavailable, Kaye Jameson, who had the most write-in votes, agreed to accept the position for another year.
